So I'll introduce myself since I'm all about meeting new people and surrounding myself with successful, dynamic and influential people.

The Boring Stuff (that pays the bills)

• I work in the sales department of a luxury resort development company.  I can't mention their name of course but they own and operate Whistler/Blackcomb mountain as well as 2 other ski and golf resorts in the country.  My job is great if you're into sales.  I sell timeshares.

The Fun Stuff (yaa I like to do these things)

• I have an internet based radio show idea that is currently in podcast phase.  It's called the Rejekt Radio Show and you can find the community blog here RejektRadio LJ. It is still in its infancy ,it's mostly tongue in ass-cheek humor.
• I play a self-designed RPG game with the same group of guys and co-creators once a week for the last ten years. We hope to develop a video game out of it.  Lord knows we have enough hard copy hand drawn maps etc. One of the crew is working on an epic novel about the fantasy world.  Ya I'm a geek.
• I've had a few backyard hobbies turn into small businesses, I got bored and let them go.
• I'm creative, energetic, disorganized, frantic, passionate, usually I talk before thinking, and I like to write and talk.  I also listen to a lot of talk radio.

Everything else well I guess you just have to ask.

I'm a massage practitioner, reiki master, and herbalist.
in my little massage studio i will be setting up a shelf where i'm displaying some of the products i make for sale.
I would like to add some jewellry for sale to this shelf... i have done some silversmithing and various other types of jewellry making, but i find i don't have the time to make anything right now.
if there is someone here thant makes jewellry that would like to give me a few peices to sell for them, then i could display their work, and have some of their business cards out. In turn I could give you some of my business cards/gift certificates for you to promote my business.

if you become a member of this community, please do an introductory post, tell us a bit about who you are, what you do, and who you'd like to connect with, what you would like from this community.

my idea is for this to be a place where we can meet other self employed professionals or small business people. a place to meet people to barter and do exchanges... but also a place to just meet other people.
if enough people get interested, i'd like to have meet ups. i'd like this to be a network of support. a place to encourage one another in their business endevours. we can each become eachothers best advertising.
we can help each other create business plans, help each other market our ideas. we can meet people with the same interests/training/businesses and see if we can work together to create something greater.
each of us working together, utilizing the law of attraction, using proven wealth formulas to propel us all forward into thriving success.

i encourage ALL OF YOU who read this to please take a minute to post, just say hello, or add a few words of suggestion. I need help to build this community into something special. ..it can become something special.
forward and spread the word to everyone you know out there that is trying to make it on their own, in their own businesses... or to those who are just dreaming of working for themselves. forward this to anyone that is working for someone else, but would love to meet other people to do exchanges with.
i have no boundaries on this community.
i hope it will grow, flourish and evolve in to what ever you make of it.
